The National Veterans Memorial and Museum in Columbus, Ohio is a gorgeous tribute to U.S. military veterans. The crossing circular elements on the exterior of the building give a sense of unity and strength fitting of the museum’s theme.
This military film studio, which once housed the set for training videos and research films, is now home to actor Jared Leto. Sporting a gorgeous outdoor pool and an expansive art gallery, this military site turned mansion is a sight to see.

It’s interesting to see how many former military sites are being refurbished into homes and even film sets! Producer and actor, Tyler Perry, purchased the former Fort McPherson military base in Atlanta and converted it into tons of sets including a faux White House, lakeside cabin, and a commercial jet.
Rather than scrap the historic military bunker this home was built on, Eggleston Farkas Architects incorporated it into the design of the new building. With stunning coastal mountain views and rich wooden interior décor, this space really makes use of its roots!
