For a growing family settling into a new home, designer Elizabeth Reich envisioned a bathroom that offered a much-needed moment of calm. The design centers on MERIDIAN from the CASABLANCA Collection, a geometric marble mosaic that introduces bold pattern while allowing the rest of the room to remain beautifully understated. Although the tile was originally a second choice, it quickly became the defining feature of the space. An alabaster chandelier adds a sculptural finishing touch to this serene and deeply personal retreat.
“This bathroom was special because our clients had moved into a new home and just had their second baby. She wanted a spa-like bathroom to unwind in. We love marble, and this floor was actually our second choice because the first one was not going to arrive on time. However, this second choice turned out to be the favorite. We wanted a pattern on the floor and calm everywhere else. We loved the final result, and the alabaster chandelier is really special.” — Elizabeth Reich
