As we dive into 2023, I’m sure everyone wants to know about the newest trends in color.
Every year, Pantone releases a new color of the year. Pantone has been around since 1963, providing color matches and tools to bring color to everyone. In addition, Pantone created the Pantone Color Institute to connect the design community in every aspect. From clothing, art, paint, furniture, and TILE! Pantone introduces the color of the year to help inspire the design industry to let us know what will be trending this year. So I'm sure you are thinking, what is the color of 2023? It's the lovely Viva Magenta 18-1750!
I know what you're thinking. Pink? Let's not think of Magenta as pink. Magenta is a mature, vibrant tone stemming from shades of red. Bringing a fierce presence to any room, we can all say that over the past few years, we would all benefit from something that makes us feel empowered. Color evokes mood and emotion. When dissecting Viva Magenta, we see the power and animation that it brings to a space. We can really control the space we want with color.
You don't have to use magenta tile throughout your entire house! You can start in small spaces. A vanity backsplash to spice up an all-white bathroom. Take our EXPRESSION Rose tile for example:
