In revamping a cramped master bath with Japanese flair, designer Jennifer Gilmer and associate Meghan Browne utilized dramatic slate shower tile on an accent wall for a spa-like appeal. The removal of an oversized whirlpool tub allowed for a spacious layout featuring a teak ofuro soaking tub and a wider vanity for two. The choice of tile, along with river rock inlay, creates a cohesive and visually striking design with a focus on natural textures.
