Architessa Debuts New Tile Collections Inspired by 2026 Design Trends

Architessa's is proud to launch six new tile series driven by big tile trends in 2026. Headlining the launch are PREP, a porcelain collection that translates woven linen, canvas, and classic plaid into sophisticated surfaces, and TRELLIS, a refined porcelain series featuring an interlacing motif inspired by woven textiles. These six new porcelain and ceramic tile collections are driven by what's up and coming in the world of interior design - a focus on softening edges to create inviting spaces.

PREP (Textile-Inspired Porcelain)

PREP draws inspiration from the artistry of textiles and high fashion, translating the texture of hand-stretched canvas and the rhythm of woven linen into a refined porcelain surface. Coordinating field tiles in neutral and fashion-forward colors provide a versatile foundation, while a structured plaid décor brings a tailored statement to the collection.

Two coordinating mosaics, an offset basketweave and a modern pill shape, introduce additional texture and dimension. Made in the USA with a matte finish, PREP is suitable for residential and commercial walls, backsplashes, and floors. Whether used as a distinctive accent or carried from floor to wall, the collection offers a sophisticated interpretation of classic pattern and textile traditions.

TRELLIS (Textured Glazed Porcelain)

TRELLIS blends understated elegance with contemporary craftsmanship through soft tonal color and a refined matte finish. A coordinating décor features an elongated, interlacing motif inspired by woven textiles, creating subtle dimension and rhythmic movement across the surface. TRELLIS pairs a nuanced palette with tactile detailing for a look that feels tailored yet relaxed.

Additional new products released in September include:

CORA (Handmade Terracotta Scalloped)

CORA celebrates the artistry of handmade terracotta with graceful scalloped edges and expressive geometry. Available in 4x4 and 2x5 formats with clear matte and glossy finishes, its sculptural silhouette softens the traditional tile grid while introducing movement, warmth, and craftsmanship.

MOOD (Color Body Porcelain)

MOOD brings together three distinct stone-inspired looks within one versatile porcelain collection. Earth captures the understated warmth of limestone, Stone reflects the natural depth of Ardenne stone, and Urban channels the bold texture of Ceppo di Gré. Made in the USA and available in Matte and Grip finishes, MOOD is suitable for commercial interior and exterior walls and floors.

OFFSET (Dimensional Natural Stone Mosaics and Bars)

OFFSET reimagines natural stone through texture, dimension, and unexpected form. A curated mix of marble, travertine, and onyx is expressed through elongated 2x12 and 2x18 formats, a broken mosaic, and a sculptural stacked pill. Honed and leathered finishes emphasize the inherent character of the stone, creating surfaces that feel collected rather than coordinated. Suitable for residential and commercial walls and floors, OFFSET can move easily between refined traditional and expressive modern interiors.

PORTER (Classic Cermaic Wall Tile)

PORTER offers a fresh interpretation of classic ceramic tile, pairing timeless formats with dimensional detail. The signature Frame décor can be mixed, matched, and layered to create everything from subtle accents to bold architectural statements. Classic White anchors the collection across all four sizes and coordinating trims, with both matte and glossy finishes. PORTER is suitable for commercial and residential interior walls and countertops.

Why are these new tiles popular? Fabric looks and scalloped edges are becoming popular tile options thank to the touch of softness they can add to interiors.

Across the September introductions, several key 2026 tile trends emerge: textile-inspired surfaces, dimensional and tactile finishes, scalloped silhouettes, expressive natural stone, handmade materials, and updated interpretations of classic ceramic tile. The collections reflect a broader shift toward interiors that feel layered, personal, and material-driven while balancing design with the performance needs of residential and commercial spaces.

These new tile collections are now available online and through Architessa showrooms in Maryland, Virginia, D.C. and nationwide, offering architects, designers, and homeowners a refined mix of tailored patterns, dimensional surfaces, natural materials, and timeless forms for creating spaces with character.
