A New Standard for Environmentally Conscious LVP

The LVP category has grown rapidly, but its environmental challenges - PVC impact, landfill permanence, and indoor emissions - have remained largely unaddressed. EVER was developed to confront those issues head-on. Many are asking - "Is LVP sustainable?"

At its core is patented CarbonCore™ technology, a proprietary blend of activated bamboo charcoal engineered to reduce harmful indoor chemicals and promote healthier living environments.

Unlike conventional vinyl flooring, EVER actively adsorbs and degrades formaldehyde over time while releasing negative oxygen ions. Formaldehyde is a common compound found in everyday materials like furniture, cabinetry, paint, electronics, and cleaning products. Prolonged exposure can negatively impact indoor air quality. EVER LVP helps mitigate that exposure directly at the surface level, where people live, work, and gather.

Why Bamboo Charcoal Matters

CarbonCore™ uses activated bamboo charcoal because bamboo is one of the most renewable raw materials available. Compared to traditional hardwoods, bamboo:

• Absorbs up to 12 tons of carbon dioxide per hectare per year

• Reaches maturity in 1–5 years, far faster than trees

Through a high-temperature pyrolysis process, bamboo is transformed into activated charcoal with an exceptionally high pore density, offering up to 10x the surface area of ordinary charcoal. This increased surface area dramatically improves its adsorption capacity, allowing EVER to perform beyond what standard LVP cores can achieve.
